Create an itinerary including Phong Nha Caves
A collection of 300 caves and grottos within a World Heritage-listed national park, Phong Nha Caves boast the largest cave in the world. Access the site by boat along the Son River, wending through steep limestone cliffs covered with lush vegetation. The caves feature intricate stalagmite formations suspended like giant octopuses from the ceiling. Explore strange shapes formed over millions of years as your boat glides along some 1.2 km (0.75 mi) deep in the cave. The caves make up part of the oldest karst mountain in Asia. Using our custom trip planner, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park attractions like Phong Nha Caves can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • You pay entrance ticket per person (150k) and then you have to get a boat (550k price split between the number of ppl 1-8) we were lucky and found some ppl to share it with so it was cheaper. The cave is very nice but took one star off as there was absolutely no info about it. the three staff on the boat didn’t speak English either so it was hard to learn anything about the cave.
  • - We paid for the boat was 550,000 VND like charter and entrance was 150,000 VND per person at the Tourism Centre station. - Recommend come in the morning after breakfast.
