The central market in the district and a thriving hub for trade in Ho Chi Minh, Binh Tay Market pulsates with authentic everyday market life. Sprawling across street after street, hosting some 600 stalls in both the outdoor and indoor areas, the market jumps to life at the break of dawn, winding down around mid-morning. Awaken your senses with a walk around the maze of fresh produce, hot food, and handicrafts, immersing yourself in the market’s culture of bargain-hunting and haggling. Primarily a wholesale market, prices get cheaper the more you buy. Take a look at our Ho Chi Minh City trip site to schedule your visit to Binh Tay Market and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

The clothing items on this market are Asian brands think clothes the locals wear, we’ve been coming to Vietnam for 10years and thought we’d venture here based on the reviews. Do not waste your time.

Lot of things to see, but yes, there are a lot of bulk suppliers. Nevertheless you also can buy smaller amounts - recommended is the dried fruit and candy section. You can choose whatever you like to try (or maybe already know). We liked it.

It’s a wholesale market for local Vietnamese people . Probably they buy from factories and sell in wholesale to retailers. Product range is wide, from shoes to luggage trolley bags to chappals and shoes to cosmetics to dried meats … and much much more . Usually they just sell in wholesale , won’t entertain retail customers , but few of them will give you in retail . Unlike other markets probably there is no bargaining and the prices are fixed. Happy shopping 🤟🏻
