    We love A1A beaches because there are so many hidden away. We look for the brown signs and turn in. If the parking lot is fairly empty, we park. We're very glad we did when we got to Golden Sands...

    They just repaired the wooden walkway, reinforced the sand dunes and now it's wonderful. There are facilities at this beach and also have a lifeguard.

    It was clean and not too crowded.

    Easy parking. Clean. Life guard station was manned. Lots of families there. Nice fresh water showers to rinse off with. Felt like a safe environment, as i went there by myself.
