Delve into the wonders of the underwater world at The Florida Aquarium. Situated in the Channel District of historic Tampa, the aquarium features a collection of more than 20,000 aquatic plants and animals, as well as an outdoor water park and several interactive exhibits. Wander past alligator swamps and 4.3 m (14 ft) long Burmese pythons in the simulated wetlands exhibit, or head out on the open water on a wild dolphin viewing expedition aboard the aquarium’s 22 m (72 ft) catamaran. Don’t miss a chance to swim with the fish through the guest dive program. Catch a city bus to the aquarium to avoid paying to park. The Aquarium was a wonderful place to visit. It was very different from the aquariums that I visited in the northeast which made it very interesting. It is worth visiting.

Wow what an aquarium. We spent 3 hours there and really enjoyed all the exhibits they have. I enjoyed seeing the Lemurs and learning about the many varieties of Jellyfish. My husband enjoyed the Otters and we both enjoyed seeing the sharks and the schools of fish swimming in a circle. There is a water feature for kids to play in as well as a place to catch lunch along with a well stocked gift shop. It's a bit pricey but young kids will love the exhibits and the hands on stations throughout the aquarium.

Aquarium is very nice a lot of nice exhibits very friendly stuff. This review is or someone who may find it helpful as a person in a wheelchair I recently visited the aquarium this weekend with my fiance to I'm saying to go on the dolphin cruise. I paid for tickets online and when we got to the dock we were informed that they have a wheelchair accessible boat but not a wheelchair accessible dock and I couldn't get aboard the boat to take that off from cruise I was politely informed by customer service agent that the dock is owned by the city of Tampa and port authority and they rent space from them I informed the young living about this is highly against 88 compliance and the aid compliance and is in violation of several Ada laws it was and I want to know what the number is to the Tampa port authority so I can help them get in compliance
