I absolutely love the Saturday Morning Market, and am happy to volunteer as well as to enjoy purchasing the fresh produce, eating delicious food and enjoying the St. Pete vibe in full force.

If you're looking for a spot to buy organic veggies and pastured raised meats directly from the farm, I think you'll love this market. Between October and the end of May the St Pete Saturday Morning Market is where I buy nearly all the produce I eat. It's attended by four organic veggie farms, plus two farms that sell pasture raised meat and eggs. The quantity and variety of produce is abundant and unlike anything I've seen at farmers markets in other states. Walk to the back corner by the large parking lot to find the farms. You'll also find: - raw, local honey - locally made kombucha and ferments - FL grown flowers - mushrooms - homemade pickles - sourdough bread (made without commercial yeast) - and all kinds of art and food trucks We are really lucky to have this market in St. Pete. FYI, the growing season for most veggies in south Florida wraps up in May/June. So if you go between June and the first of October you'll notice the veggie farms aren't there. But you can still get meat and some of the other things I listed above.

Worden Farm is the best! All the people that work there are so happy and nice. I love talking to Jenise. Thank you to Chris and Eva for doing what you do! Providing people with healthy nutritious food.
