I understand the height policy 100%! But the people inside are friendly at first but they appear to really not want children in the museum or gift shop. If the buttons on the computer are pressed too.... more

This was my husband and I first visit here and this has now become my very favorite Beach on the Gulf Coast. Wow. It is beautiful here. This will be our Beach vacation annually on our anniversary. The residents are so very friendly. Talk to both the wonderful woman in the gift shop who is a wealth of knowledge about the lighthouse and talk to the wonderful woman at the information send her and she'll give you tips on where to eat and more. Best experience I've had traveling in a long time. Blessed beyond measure with this Gem of a small town. We'll be back.

When you visit this Island; this is a must see!!! The museum is very informative, historical pictures and stories.. kids love it, pet friendly for the museum, gift shop has some really nice handmade items. My husband went on the tour up to the lighthouse, I don’t like heights! The night view of this is gorgeous too. The beach is a walk away! Can’t describe the breathtaking views!! It’s a experience you have to experience yourself.
