Create an itinerary including The Ximenez-Fatio House
One of St. Augustine's oldest historical sites, The Ximenez-Fatio House is the best preserved of the city's colonial buildings. The property was managed by a series of businesswomen who are also an important part of the area’s history. In fact, the house is also known as Ms. Fatio's House, referring to the woman who was manager when it was the only boarding house in town. Furnishings and decor recall both the 16th century, when an earlier structure stood on the site, and the 19th century, when the boarding house operated. Each room is carefully decorated with textiles, personal decor, and tools that make the house still feel lived in. Join a guided tour through the kitchen, washroom, and guest rooms. Tours take place throughout the day; reservations are not necessary. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, St. Augustine holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the The Ximenez-Fatio House and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • A fun self-guided tour of this historical site. Staff were very pleasant and offered water and fans. While I wouldn't necessarily recommend going on a hot day (like I did 😂), it is well worth the visit!
  • Hand held audio tour. Great volume So informative! Amazing history in every corner of this estate! Fresh figs right off the tree was an added bonus!! Yum!
