Create an itinerary including Ripley's Believe It Or Not
This location of Ripley's Believe It Or Not is the first permanent exhibit of the uncommon Ripley's collection. The franchise, founded by Robert Ripley, began as a comic panel illustrating unusual facts. The company evolved into a chain of museums, starting with this one, a year after Ripley's death. Opened in 1950, the museum houses more than 800 exhibits of wacky and strange items, including some of Ripley's own original collection. Inside you'll find shrunken heads; a stuffed, six-legged cow; and a bone motorcycle. Bring your camera to capture photos of these and many more bizarrely fascinating displays. • It was expensive for what it was. I grew up watching Ripley's Believe It or Not so I was super excited to go through it. Sadly it did not live up to my expectation for the entry fee.

  • My fourth grade class did the trolley ride and loved it! Jeff was entertaining and knowledgeable. It’s a great way to see the city.

  • Surprisingly great! My family of five was able to walk through the many exhibits while social distancing. We enjoyed the laid back pace as well as the exhibits. The shrunken heads are a bit creepy to me, but the teens loved them. There are a few flights of stairs but they also have elevators. The gift shop was full of reasonably priced gifts and one of my teens surprised me with a shrunken head! Ha!
  • My husband and I took our three kids on the Ripley’s Red Train Tour and then toured the museum. The train ride was amazing! We had the most awesome tour guide, BENJI! He is hilarious and made it well worth the money!! The only con is if you aren’t a mask wearer - they are very strict on the masks! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Imagine trying to keep a mask on a 4 year old for 3-5 hours.
