Anastasia State Park, St. Augustine

I cannot say enough about how amazing this park was. It was shaded and paved. The camping section is a bit far from the beach area, so you don't get Beach goers wandering through your site. There is a great local market that happens on weekends that you can easily get to. Definitely bring bikes to cruise around on! And the people at the kayak rental are awesome and do tours!

I love Anastasia State Park. The beach is beautiful & has a lifeguard on duty. They have showers, a playground, and a concessions stand. D The rentals at the front of the park are reasonably priced and a great place for beginners. Nice spot to take kids out for the first time. Full of birds and jumping fish. Water isn't rough for kayaking. A perfect spot for a scenic day.
