Ranked as the best beach in the continental United States by Dr. Beach, Cape San Blas offers 27 km (17 mi) of shell-sprinkled white sands. The water here appears blue or green, depending on the moment, but it is almost always calm and clear. You can horseback ride along the beach, go diving, and hike with tour guides. Beach campfires are allowed, but they must be away from green areas and turtle nests; picking plants and taking live marine animals is prohibited.
