This was amazing!! Absolutely beautiful views. Be prepared! There is a spiral staircase with 177 stairs you have to climb up and go back down, so be prepared for a challenging workout! I would do this again a million times over. When we went the base was closed to the public, but open to those with a military ID only.

I came here with friends and was pleasantly surprised how much we got out of a light house tour. The grounds are gorgeous, the tower and volunteer staff was instantly kind and educational. The gift shop was very well stocked with tons of great merchandise for any visitor. Definitely recommend stopping here if you're in the area.
