  • This is one of the better parks that we have been to. There was lots of wildlife (deer, birds, turtles, etc ). The scenery was reminiscent of areas further south. The beach was pristine like Shell Island. The trails were very nice and the more secluded areas had lots of shells. The restrooms were some of the cleanest we've ever seen at a park. All of this for only eight dollars. If you aren't staying on the beach with access this is the place to go. We enjoyed it a lot. The only negative was the state of the roads.
  • A great place to visit to see how Panama City Beach was before it was touched by human hands, and an excellent place to visit the beach. Splash in the shallower 'kiddie pool' protected by the jetties, swim in the gulf, fish off the pier, take a shuttle to shell island to spend the day, or launch your own boat. The campsites are a fun way to spend the night with nature, sleep under the stars then spend the day at the beach! Keep an eye out for deer, herons and other wildlife and enjoy learning about the vegetation and history at St. Andrew’s State Park!
