One of the state's most well-preserved and wild barrier islands, Shell Island stretches for nearly 11.3 km (7 mi) along the Florida coast. Home to a wide array of native creatures, including several rare and endangered animals, the island will give you the chance to spot sea turtles, crabs, seabirds, and more in their natural habitats.
