  • These gardens are lovely although the roses always seem disappointing and challenged. Not sure Orlando is the ideal climate for roses. But the regional and tropical gardens are stunning with the bamboo especially enjoyable. The butterfly garden shouldn't be missed. It's beautifully designed and picture worthy. One note, the main house is closed for renovations, so the interesting (and air conditioned!) exhibitions as well as the very nice gift shop are on hold these days.
  • A peaceful gem for Orlando locals. I have been here many times over the years for a relaxing stroll through the rose garden and woods along the lake. Concrete pathways are perfect for families with a stroller or wheeled chair. Friday night movie nights in the summer. Dazzling lights tonight for Christmas. Great family day or night out. For all ages and entire familial generations to enjoy.
