We absolutely loved this museum! It had something for everyone is our family. The multiple floors and multiple buildings meant everything was perfectly laid out. There was an overwhelming amount of information and artifacts, but because of the space it made for a smooth layout. The informative workers really made us feel welcome and like no question was to small or big. The interactive dog tags helped us to have a more personal interaction as we followed a member of the armed forces story throughout the timeline of WWII. The exhibits were beautiful and done with great detail you could really spend the whole day there. However, if you are coming on a Sunday make note that the cafe closes early at 2 pm. Including us there were multiple families that were disappointed finding out the restaurant was already closed. That aside we had absolutely no complaints. If there would have been a few more benches in key places that would have been great as it was a lot of walking and some members of our group wanted to browse around a bit more than others. There was a parking lot right across the street and for the whole 6 hours we were there we only paid $14 so it was definitely worth it. We would definitely return and suggest checking this museum out.

This is an incredible museum. It is immense, informative, and extremely well crafted. The museum design is outstanding. You feel like you are on location in many of the exhibits. It is moving to see what these people had to endure to achieve victory. The Battle of the Bulge and the Normandy exhibits were so well done. The Pacific Theater floor immersed you into the campaigns. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend here. This museum rivals any of the DC area Smithsonian museums in terms of quality and content.
