Be a part of New Orleans's rich history and cultural heritage with a visit to Jackson Square. One of the city's most iconic landmarks in the heart of the French Quarter, the park serves as the main hub for cultural and leisure activities. Stroll past the manicured lawns and 18th-century architecture, admiring the eccentric mix of street artwork and handmade crafts on display by local artists. Before or afterward, stop for a beignet (French-style doughnuts) at Cafe Du Monde, sitting outside to enjoy local musicians and street performers in the park. If members of your group want to split up, you can meet back at the statue of Andrew Jackson in the center of the park. This is a must-see spot in NOLA. The groundskeepers take such good care of this park. This combined with a stroll at the Riverwalk needs to be on your list of things to do while in NOLA.

A truly unique and well presented area. I have no complaints as the area was very Clean and well maintained. The gardens were well cared for and kept clean from rubbish, it was good to see that. Along with the tidiness of the area it was good to see that all tourists and locals were catered for with signage to help all. In multicultural languages as well. So impressed with some of the uniqueness I can only hope that back home we do a better job at showcasing our heritage too. Well done. Well worth the time and effort to see this and become part of it's history. A visit well worth while.

This is a great place to admire lots of street performers like jazz bands, dancers, acrobatics, magicians, fortune tellers, painters, and all other kinds of entertainers. This is also a nice place to get a ride in a mule-pulled carriage around New Orleans. There are also many shops and restaurants around. The famous Saint Louis Cathedral is here and the recasting of the equestrian statue of Andrew Jackson is also found here. The park itself is small, but the surrounding entertainment is what draws masses of tourists to this area. It is definitely a site to not miss when in New Orleans.
