Mercato, Naples

I don't usually rate a "destination" like a shopping mall because I usually feel like it has no real personality separate from the businesses that inhabit it, but this one does. It's an attractive, vibrant and cleverly designed new community where even if you come with no specific agenda you will probably find something to enjoy. There are tons of great restaurants with ample outdoor seating, an outdoor event space, movie theater, frozen yogurt, and who knows what else. It's thrumming with life. And if you like fancy cars, you could amuse yourself for hours just identifying makes and models making their way around and modeling the prosperity of the area. Well worth a stop. Ample free garage parking too.

Very nice meal. We reserved a table on the patio overlooking the water. You must make reservations for a fine dining experience. We had a party of seven and the service was spectacular. This is a must see in Naples. I was told by members of our party the restrooms need some work. The prices are slightly above average but worth the price. Everyone in our party was served together and the meals were hot. Each dish looked wonderful and everyone said the food was delicious. You won't be disappointed.
