Encompassing 14.2 hectares (35 acres) of mangrove forest, coastal dunes, and a white sandy beach, Clam Pass Park provides opportunities for exploration and relaxation. Its peaceful location away from the road means the beach is only accessible via a 1.2 km (0.75 mi) boardwalk running through a mangrove forest. Enjoy a nature stroll along the pass or catch the tram that runs throughout the day. From the boardwalk through this typical southwestern Florida ecosystem, you can spot three different species of mangrove tree, colorful butterflies, and an array of birds. At the beach, unwind on the soft sand or paddle in the clear water. Concession stands offer chair and umbrella rentals, food, and drinks. We jumped on the free shuttle to the beach and this was great - although it's not that far to walk, it was hot and we had lots of stuff to carry! The beach is lovely and very suitable for families...

Nice beach area. You access it via a long walkway which is probably a mile long. You have the option to get picked up by a golf cart (free of charge, tips welcomed). If you do bring a car you must pay $10 which allows you to stay all day. You could actually leave and come back as well. This part of the beach is attached to what it seems to be a hotel. There is restroom facilities, a little bar (might offer food but didn't get close enough to see). You can also rent towels and little cabanas. We wnet after a big storm and found the beach to not be in top shape. Not sure how much the hotel maintains it. It is not bad for $10 "admission" fee.

This is a great place. I have been there many times. Great system, order your food, pay for it and wait a shirt while for your number. Take a seat looking out on the water.... Fantastic
