Hubbard's Marina, Madeira Beach

Great people at Hubbard’s Marina. Been fishing several times with these folks. They not only know where the fish are but they really treat you like your part of the Hubbard family. I’ve taken my wife, a long with my adult children and grandchildren as young as 4 yrs old, everyone has a great time. Capt. Dillon really runs a great outfit here. Capt. Sal and first mate Rob are great on the Hub. I really recommend everyone call Jason and set up a charter. I’ve been on charters all over Florida , Alaska, Hawaii. These guys are really the best

Went out on the 10 hour trip. Purchased 5 dozen live shrimp. Half of them in the bucket were dead and so small you could almost mistake them for a large brine shrimp. I paid for the breakfast and lunch. I am not a picky person but the food was bad. The burger was unseasoned and like mush. It was honestly nasty. The crew was nice but didn’t really do anything for me the entire trip. I untangled my own lines, unhooked my own fish, and baited my own hooks. They did bring me frozen bait once at the start of the trip. It was never filled again for the entire trip. Of course they were requesting a $20-$25 tip for their “services” per person. The captain proceeded to take us to dead spot after dead spot. Then he decided we should drift fish. On a boat with both sides fishing. Can anyone guess how that goes? It’s a terrible idea. Nothing but tangles and aggravation. Finally for the last 10 minutes they anchored on “one last spot real quick” and after all day of not even nibbles with live shrimp on 14 lb line with no leader everyone around me including myself was catching fish after fish. Imagine that, on the last spot. What a coincidence! I won’t be going on this vessel again.
