  • Wonderful! We rented a cabin and were very happy - full kitchen, bathroom, etc. No internet which was great! Did some kayaking and hiking. Definitely worth a stay!!!

  • I've always wanted to see the Suwannee River up close so made this trip to see the beauty of "Old Florida". There are plenty of trails and placards to read that provide context for your journey. I've attached maps or pick one up when you come in. There aren't a lot of folks on the weekdays but I suspect it's packed with boaters on the weekends. Nice boat ramp, RV park, playground, and restrooms. I saw a ranger patrolling the parking lot area which made me feel safe. Definitely stop by to see this FL treasure.
  • Absolutely gorgeous natural scenery. Playground under large shady trees, boat ramp with lots of nearby trailer parking, walking trails, great fishing, swimming, and boating opportunities. Campground is well kept up with very clean shower house/restrooms and washer/dryer. Our site had a fire pit, picnic table, water/electric, and clothes line. Many sites were *uncomfortably* close to neighbors, so be aware.
