Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway is a trackless dark ride in Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida, and forthcoming in Mickey's Toontown at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. The attraction—the first Mickey Mouse-themed ride-through attraction at a Disney theme park—is based on the stylized world from the television series.
The version of Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway at Disney's Hollywood Studios was first announced at the D23 Expo in July 2017 as part of the unveiling of 23 improvements to Disney Parks, including 4 new rides across the theme parks. The version at Disney's Hollywood Studios opened on March 4, 2020, within the park's replica of Grauman's Chinese Theatre, replacing The Great Movie Ride. A second version is scheduled to open in 2023 at Disneyland, which will be located inside Mickey's Toontown.

  • A delightful ride that will make you smile. A very mild coaster that has a lot of colorful animation, 3D effects, and very kid friendly. Located inside, so no bad weather to deal with! Lots of fun.

  • I was expecting a cheesy, nostalgic ride. I was so wrong. Instead, I was a kid again and completely enthralled. This ride will leave you wondering, "How did they *do* that?!" It's as if you could be in a real 2D animated movie from the 1930s. Does that sound like I'm heaping too much praise here? See it yourself. Try and find the seams and projectors. Good luck doing that.
  • Love this trackless ride! A very nice way to showcase Mickey and Minnie. I do miss the Great Movie Ride though. Just felt a little weird being in the same building and it is a different ride. We did not use Lightning Lane for this and we waited about 60 minutes. I would recommend the use of a Lightning Lane if you don't want to wait in line or it is a must do attraction for you.
