  • Spent a morning here and it was blissful. Got there a bit late but still lots of parking spots. Fun spot to body surf and play in the water.

  • Now you don’t! Huge surf and storm system pushed the waves all the way up to the foliage line, temporarily closing the beach. Huge December storm was like a hurricane with torrential rains, but...

  • Many favorites on the island and this is one of them. Weather in the north can be more windy and showery, so be prepared for a different experience then what you get just 5 to 7 miles south. Temps here will also be a bit cooler. We typically play in the water on this beach. Riding boards is why we come, but you can also snorkle IF the water is flat. Otherwise waves can be rough and perfect for riding. Big enough beach to just come to lay out and get cooled down too.
  • Beautiful beach cove. Clean maintained park area with picnic tables. Restrooms so-so, no source for drying hands. Just beyond parking lot is a gourmet burger shack run by neighboring resort. Otherwise no vendors. Last but no least, this beach has life guard.
