  • The front 9 is stunning - in a jungle but short, accurate tee shot to a target is key, less penalties is the key to scoring here. Greens are straight forward and on the furry side. Back 9 is out of the jungle and the wind can make some of the holes require big drives to have a chance. Great course overall, definitely the best public track within 30ish minutes of Honolulu. Bring your own water.
  • I love this golf course. Still referred to as Luana Hills by the locals, it's probably my favorite course on Oahu. The tropical jungle setting is truly unique and the character of each hole makes this place special. Yes, I've played all the courses in Oahu, and this is still my favorite. The Palmer course at Turtle Bay is next. While considered challenging by some because of the unforgiving hazards, this course is a truly remarkable and enjoyable track for the golf enthusiast.
