  • An extremely good time and deal. We took a kayak tour. This also included a 15% discount at the store, free equipment rentals (snorkels, coolers, bicycles, etc) until closing that day at 5pm. The Kayak tour was out to Flat Island. It is a bird sanctuary and made of fossilized coral reef, so be sure to have good shoes. The real highlight was our guide, Goose. If at all possible, you should try to get Goose as your guide. Get onto your hands and knees and beg if you have to, I'm not joking. This was one of the most informative tours I went on while in Hawaii besides the Bishop museum. He puts a lot of effort into his craft and knows a lot about the history of the geography, people, and wild life. He made an already awesome excursion even better with all the info and passion he packed into it. We will definitely be back!
  • My wife and I took a Kayak Tour with Mike. It was excellent! I was impressed with the size of the establishment. They had individual rooms, with lockers for each group, restroom facilities, and outdoor showers to rinse off after. They have a well appointed shop with beachwear and everything you would need for your excursion. I bought a hat and a leash for my glasses. The tour came with a lunch voucher and after the tour we were able to use any of their rental equipment - bikes, snorkeling equipment, etc., for the remainder of the day. On the tour, Mike took us out to where he knows the turtles live and we got to see a turtle just floating on the surface as we paddled by. Super cool. The tour goes out to flat island, a sea bird sanctuary, where we disembarked and walked the perimeter of the island with Mike providing information on the plant and animal life unique to the island. Over all a great experience. If you're in west Oahu look them up.
