Beyond The Plate Food Tours, Jersey City

I've done the Beyond the Plate Food Tour two times now and I recently went on the Jersey City Heights tour with my friend. The tour started off at a local Italian spot which hold a lot of history in Jersey City. We heard form the owner about how they got started and even got to see his family working while we tried the food. We also tried some Mexican, Salvadoran, Peruvian and Haitian food. We ended the tour with donuts, so needless to say I was in my happy place. The tour guide, Kyle was extremely fun and very informative. It was also great to speak with the owners and learn about their background and what inspired them to start this business venture. Overall, the tour was fun and a great cultural experience. I highly recommend booking this to do some team building, hang out with friends, or even a date!

Best way to celebrate a birthday or learn more about the area. Loved every stop and the drinks were great. So much food and definitely didn’t need dinner after. Heather was an amazing host/tour guide :)
