  • The city zoo is a nice place to see animals however it is clear that the zoo grounds need upgrades. With Fl heat, I would go in the weekday mornings.

  • We enjoyed our trip to the zoo. There were many school field trips that day but not overly crowded. The animals and overall appearance of the park and gardens looks really good considering the shortage on labor. Prices reasonable. We got the ones for feedings, unlimited train and 4d theater. Volunteers seemed knowledgeable and pleasant for the most part. One volunteer told me to move from the visitor feeding platform for the giraffe because they wouldn't come if I stood there. Really? Such a Karen. As soon as someone stepped there with an offering, one came right over. Literally 30 seconds. Anyway, its a really nice zoo. Go early, otherwise the animals may be hard to see when they seek out shelter and shade from the heat of the day. Jacksonville should be proud.
  • I don't even know where to begin. Other than to say it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ! Everything there. You guys have done such a wonderful job ! From the design of the Zoo and all of its habitats to the amazing care that you take in each and everyone of your animals. They all look so happy and healthy.
