Definitely worth the stop! There are several interesting hands-on exhibits. The coolest one is the solid silver bar recovered from and actual shipwreck. You can hold it and feel how heavy it is! There are other neat exhibits to interact with as well. Great for the kids too!! Would recommend 💯!!
Surprisingly excellent museum. Great for kids and adults, I recommend it as a must visit to friends going to the Keys. Displays of diving technology and history from the middle ages to the present. The exhibits are top notch and extensive. The simple exterior does not do the museum justice. If you are into history, ship wrecks, technology, ocean exploration, marine science, or just looking for a fun afternoon it is a must do in the middle keys for all ages.
