Falling more than 46 m (150 ft), Manoa Falls sparkles against a sheer rock face. Take a 2.4 km (1.5 mi) hike through tall trees with twisted trunks and thick greenery to reach the falls. The pathway is often slippery, so wear shoes with a good grip. Then be prepared to take these shoes off to wade in the shallow pool at the base of the waterfall.     The path upward is extremely muddy and rocky. Plan on ruining any white sneakers! The falls look a lot larger than they really are, because of your perspective from the lookout. It's worth the hike...

    Very close to Waikiki and an easy well defined walk to the water falls. Can be a bit muddy and it’s not too strenuous. It’s like being in a different world.
