    The river is like nothing I have ever seen! It's a freshwater beach! A solid current if you want to float down river. Also, nice and cool if you just want to play in the shallows with your children! No waves, so it is more inviting than the ocean. The state park also has pavilions that can be reserved for events for cheap. It's wonderful and an incredible gem in Milton.

    Always a good time at the river!! Beach is always clean ( there are trash bins which is a big help to keeping it clean). My kids love jumping in by the big tree. Hopefully we can get the rope hung again soon! One of the local rangers stopped and told us about some really cool spiders while we were there! There is a shallow area for the young ones!!
