Peaceful place to walk up a small mountain. Not too many people, fairly quiet, with a decent variety of terrains. Decent pond to relax at, good amount of trails that you can get lost in as they cross over in some places. You can easily spend a few hours here without getting bored. Great for a local place without going too far. Plenty of parking. As with any hiking trip, bring appropriate shoes.

Nice local park that offers plenty of parking, miles of well marked trails and more then 300 feet elevation gain. Unfortunately the trails are showing signs of extreme overuse from hikers and mountain bikers. Many of the trails are extremely eroded and muddy and will stay that way for a good many months. This used to be my local go to hike but prefer less crowded spots now.
