The path to the lava tube was very steep. Fortunately, there was a warning, so I (65+ with bad knees) had to opt out while the rest of my family went. Definitely, not accessible.

This was quite an experience. You basically take a short walk through the jungle and then happen upon this dark tube where lava one flowed. It was like something out of a movie. It was supposed to be lit, but we ended up having to use the flashlights on our phones to light the way, not knowing how far we were walking. You then climb stairs out to the jungle area again. Just an awe inspiring short walk for sure.

Really cool lava tube to walk through and check out. You are in the tube for quite a distance. The lights were out when we went, which made it a bit cooler in my opinion. Best to bring a flash light with you just in case. Definitely arrive early to beat the crowds.
