Grounds For Sculpture, Hamilton

Grounds For Sculpture is an “I’m going to spend the day here” kind of place. Engaging sculpture is everywhere inside and outside. Today was a perfect day outside, so I spent my time there. The artwork is both interesting and amusing. There are benches to sit and contemplate upon & the acreage has an abundance of pathways. Wheel chairs and golf carts are available, call first for availability. My favorites were next to the lake and ponds.

Be prepared to walk a lot. Ticket is 20 dollars per person which is reasonable considering there is so much to see. Don’t forget to bring a big bottle of water (there’s a tap inside visitor’s center to refill), sunglasses, sun screen and a comfortable pair of shoes. Also make sure your phone is fully charged.
