Experience Hawaiian nature at its peak at Waimea Valley, a huge area filled with a historical park including botanical gardens, waterfalls, and swimming holes. The area was once used to cultivate crops and orchards, including taro, sweet potato, and bananas. Today, the park boasts more than 5,000 plants from around the world, along with individual gardens dedicated to Guam, Madagascar, the Seychelles, and more. Swimming is allowed when cliff-diving exhibitions are not in process, or catch one of the hula performances. Wide varieties of vegetation are quite impressive. Relaxing hike that isn't too strenuous. Swimming if the falls also was enjoyable.

This place is absolutely gorgeous, there is about 0.8 miles paved path up to a waterfall where one can swim. Life jackets are provided for free near the waterfall. It felt like a serene walk through nature and you learn about a lot of old Hawaiian culture. The pretty scenery makes this an excellent place for photos 😍

This was an amazing experience! It was better than we expected and well worth the money. We did the Silver Package, which included the Falls/Gardens tour and Luau. Beautiful landscapes, beautiful birds, easy walk to falls, rich history, fabulous gift shop, and AMAZING luau. The Luau was interactive. There is no cell service so people were socializing and getting hands on experience in the ways of tradition. The food was absolutely delicious (I ate way too much), the drinks superb, and the staff was absolutely phenomenal! We will definitely be back on our next vacation. We had a minor seating hiccup with other vacationers that stole our reserved seats but other than that, we had an incredible time. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
