Henderson Beach State Park, Miramar Beach

Highly recommend visiting this beach! We found it on day 3 of our 4 day trip and the hubby said, "Man, wish we would've found this place on day one!!" We arrived around 9:30am which I thought might be too early but it was perfect (August). Front row parking and very nice gentleman at the welcome station (yes, the small fee is SO worth it!). The beach was so very well taken care of and the wash off station and restrooms were well maintained also. A nice, quiet beach for the kids to play at... highly recommend it!

This was just a 5 star experience all the way around. The site itself ranked among the nicest I have stayed at, and that includes Fort Wilderness at Disney. This was an incredibly nice RV park that the workers take obvious pride in. Speaking of the workers, the rangers and employees were some of the nicest human beings I have encountered. It was almost hard to believe they were government employees. 5/5, amazing stay. Will absolutely be back.
