See why Daytona International Speedway is home to the most prestigious NASCAR race--Daytona 500. Apart from NASCAR, the speedway has hosted motorcycle races, go-karting, and even Power Boat races at the infield Lake Lloyd. Watch the race teams at work and get autographs, find out about the history of NASCAR, and much more. Take a trolley ride on the track itself, or pre-book a private VIP-tour of the whole place. Visit the Budweiser Party Porch above the track where there's food, drinks, and entertainment. Check out the amusement rides, go carts, and merchandise trailers. Visit the website in advance to see what's going on at the day of your visit. I was there for the four day concert. Just want to say thank you to the man who ran the shark riding game. It was free. What a great thing to offer to the public! He was so nice and courteous with every person. Offered his hand to help people out of the ring. Just thought he was great. I'm sure it's not easy to do that all day long. The food truck Sir Cooks a Lot is a business you'll want to have back again. Their menu is simple, all prices are the same and gives you a generous helping of delicious food.

Here's is your survival pack: 1. No cash accepted anywhere so have money on your cards. 2. No fountain beverages so don't just bring s bottle expecting to buy mixers. 3. Stack your cooler with as many prepackaged bevs and food as you can. 4. Smoking areas a plenty. 5. Ear plugs are a must. 6. Make friends with your seat neighbors. You'll be there a few hours. 7. Enjoy the debauchery and the race! 8. Don't be that jerk that takes photos/ videos on the 1st 2 laps. There are hundreds of times to take them. 9. Enjoy the multiple fly overs. Best I've ever seen!
