Lat year we stayed right at Clearwater Beach so we hit sunset at the pier every night. This year we stayed farther down near Treasure Island but we made a point of catching sunset at the Pier one...

A relaxing place to take your family for an evening stroll. They also have FREE movie nights under the stars during the summer months for about 10 weeks! Also the occasional fireworks if you are lucky enough to catch them when you are visiting. All-in-all, a perfect place to spend the evening with family and friends. Much more family friendly than that of places like Miami Beach.

We enjoyed the boardwalk and didn't mind the entry fee out onto the pier. Beautiful views and fishing area. Nice little convenience and souvenir shop. Vendors selling crafts and sundries the day we were there. Neat area but very busy and touristy.
