We stopped by to look at the lighthouse. It is nice. Was looking for the full moon with it but cloudy skies. Plus moon was full on Monday and we had to leave Sunday.

Interesting little museum, nice jaunt up to the top of the lighthouse, and a good picnic area. Good place to stretch your legs and learn about early life on the coast.

If you like tucked away coastal history. Visit this place. Intriguing small museum with the down home feel. The lighthouse was fun. 5.00 to go up it. Stairwell was steep (which was expected). But the view of the ocean from the top was blissfully breathtaking. Well worth it if you happen to be in that area.

The museum is free but there is a cost to climb the lighthouse. Nice museum that doesn't take too long to explore. Nice grounds with an area for kids. They have special events on a regular basis. We did the full moon tour. There was good live music, a fireplace and of course you could climb the lighthouse. I went in at moonrise and think that if I did it again I would go later when it was a bit darker.
