Featured in classic New York films like Annie Hall and Moonstruck, Brooklyn Heights Promenade offers beautiful views of the East River and Statue of Liberty in Brooklyn’s oldest neighborhood. Brooklyn Heights is the Brooklyn borough's first Historic Preservation District. Its promenade, which opened to the public in 1950, features wooden benches to take in the Manhattan skyline, scenic greenery and flowers to contrast with the city’s concrete structures, and playgrounds for children to enjoy. Take a jog or romantic stroll down the promenade on your way to Brooklyn Bridge Park or before exploring the adjacent neighborhood’s brownstone-lined streets. It is a lovely walk and the fact that bicycles are restricted makes it extra nice. On a hot summer day it is a nice green oasis, the neighborhood is beautiful and views are great.

Amazing place to take photos of the Lower Manhattan skyline and to people watch. Lots of benches for relaxing and a nice breeze from the water.

Great place for running / walking! Lots of space to take in the view and enjoy the breeze off the water during the summer. The various piers each have a different personality to them, makes for a nice place to frequent.
