Admission is $12.00 for adults 13-64, $10.00 for seniors 65 and older, and $7.00 for children 3-12. Open Monday-Sunday from 9 am - 5 pm, except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The attraction has been a focal point of Bonita Springs since Bill and Lester Piper created the facility to rehabilitate injured animals. The park remained in the Piper family for over 78 years and has been non profit since 2015. It has become a place for visitors to enjoy the botanical gardens and see wildlife in an intimate way, something that modern parks cannot provide.

The new Everglades Wonder Gardens focuses on the botanical gardens, which has some of the most unique species of both native and exotic specimens from around the planet. The park appeals to the many visitors who frequent Southwest Florida from all over the world, as well as the local community and its residents.

  • This is a great option for everyone! The grounds are beautiful and the animals are fun to explore. We loved the flamingos and the white peacock. It's nice that they allow you to bring your own food...

  • What a lovely couple of hours. Great place to take the kids. Beautiful plants and trees. Could do with a coffee shop at the end for refreshments!!

  • Beautiful park! My husband and I got married here in fall of 2020 and it was a magical experience. The place lights up beautifully at night, and the guests loved the lush environment and animals. They could even feed the birds and alligators before our ceremony. Visiting during the day is lovely.. The grounds are well taken care of and are frequently updated. The flamingos and ibis happily eat out of everyone's hands. All of the birds and reptiles are rescued. The plant life is very lush and green and provides a decent amount of shade, though there are some open areas (wear your sunscreen)! The staff are super nice. A great way to spend a quick afternoon with plant life and the animals! What a gem in the cute little town of Bonita. My husband and I are members and happy to support!
  • What an amazing place to relax and experience. The shop is full of wonder and great souvenirs to gift. The parrots right outside the shop are a fun encounter. There is so much to see and even just to go sit by the peacocks to unwind and read. Every-time I go by, I always spot something new. My friends were so intrigued and cannot get enough if the Wonder gardens.
