We had a wonderful visit today! This was our first time experiencing Gumbo Limbo. We spent almost 2 hours here. The center is not big, but we were mesmerized at the variety of sea life and turtles. The whole facility is well maintained and clean. Parking is very limited. They accept donations, both cash and card, which we had no problem doing because we had such a great time. The nature walk and view of the intercostal is beautiful. A hidden gem. We will be back soon!!
We had a great time during our visit to the Nature Center and thoroughly enjoyed seeing everything from the butterfly garden to the Intracoastal Waterway and the many aquariums. Thank you so much to our guide Kassie as well as Frankie who were both so kind and very informative. They did an incredible job describing not only all of the different plants and animals we encountered, but also the different human and environmental threats facing the sea turtles and fish and the rehabilitation and conservation efforts being undertaken. Meeting all of the rehabilitating sea turtles was a highlight! Overall a very beautiful, welcoming place for people of all ages
