The Playground at Caesars, Atlantic City

The Playground at Caesars, a luxury shopping mall, was originally opened as an amusement pier in 1906. The first floor has been designed to look like the Atlantic City Boardwalk and--with more moderate stores--is a great place to shop for gifts. Ascend to the second floor to browse high-end goods from designers such as Burberry, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton. The majority of the drinking and dining outlets are on the third floor. Half of this level is dedicated to a "beach" area, with wooden chairs set in sand facing a huge glass window that overlooks the boardwalk and sea.
