Really loved our day out. Caves were amazing! Son enjoyed the circus and mini golf. Lots to do- enough to spend the whole day here. Only thing that would be better would be for the refreshment stands to be open. Had 25 minutes from coming out of caves to next theatre showing- a cuppa in the cold would have been so appreciated. I expect they'll open facilities fully in the summer.
First visit, not too busy when we arrived, lovely day. Managed to get on the cave tour that was just starting. Very knowledgeable guide, interesting tour, impressive caves. Interesting to see cheddar cheese stored on the caves. Quite chilly inside, so a warm jacket would be useful. Small cave dive museum, with a film showing some of the exploration of the caves. Interesting demo on paper making. Large area with slot machines that can be played using old money. The prehistoric dinosaurs were very life like. There was plenty of areas where you could picnic, as well as a cafe that sold hot food and drinks, as well as an ice cream shop. Good couple of hours spent there, would probably be longer if taking children.
