If you're into steam like me or just fancy looking at some beautiful views you can't go wrong with a trip on the Ravenglass & Eskdale railway. The museum is also worth a look it tells you about the history of the line from it's beginnings to it's preservation. Also when you get of the train at Eskdale if you go up to the pub you'll find a mill museum just behind it which is a little hidden Jem that's if you're into a bit of history like me.
