Alpacaly Ever After
Walk with alpacas along the shores of a scenic lake fringed with ancient woodlands at Alpacaly Ever After. Explore the picture-perfect grounds of the private estate--a favorite summer retreat of the famous children's writer and illustrator Beatrix Potter. Learn all about the animals from knowledgeable guides before you feed them or take them for a paddle in the lake. Over a cup of tea at the coffee shop, decide on what handmade gifts or alpaca-yarn knitwear you want to take back home. Our Portinscale trip itinerary maker makes visiting Alpacaly Ever After and other Portinscale attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

If you'd told me a month ago "you'll see alpaca and enjoy it immensely" I'd tell you to stop drinking heavily. Having spent the afternoon with these absolute legends, I can honestly say it was amazing! The staff are so friendly, so knowledgeable, and the alpaca are wonderful! Heartily recommend this to all ages!

Whisky gin and vodka distillery in lake District. Bit off the beaten track but well worth a visit. If your not a spirit drinker it's still worth a visit, there's a lovely little walk down to see the alpacas. theres a nice little bistro that does hot and cold drinks, and plenty of space around if you just want to rest your legs. If you are a drinker they have a wonderful assortment of vodka gin and whisky. + It's free to enter. However you do have to pay for the whisky tour and tasting but at £15 per person it's still value for money.
