St Sunday Crag is a fell in the English Lake District, part of the Fairfield group in the Eastern Fells. It is a prominent feature in the Patterdale skyline, with a distinctive rounded shape. St Sunday Crag is a splendid walk with a stiff start, but easing off nicely. It can be approached either over Arnison Crags or by bypassing them. Splendid views of Striding Edge, Helvellyn and it's southern approaches, and the eastern marches of the Fairfield Horseshoe, including Fairfield itself. A simple descent from Deepdale Hause to Grisedale Tarn leaves a pleasant walk back, via Levers Water if required to Glenridding, or direct to Patterdale. A good day out for most, a pleasant bimble for the fitter ones
