Unfortunately, the castle part was closed for renovations during our visit so it was just the museum. We had low expectations but my friend and I passed a morning here quite easily. It is a mixture.... more

The Castle is lovely from outside, due to renovations we couldn't enter. The museum had a nice selection of exhibitions, enough to keep young kids entertained for about an hour or so. The children especially enjoyed the taxidermy selection. Central location. Would recommend for families.

A wonderful museum absolutely packed with such interesting items and clear descriptions to read about them. Lovely little coffee room and helpful staff. Worth every penny
