The Puzzling Place is exactly what its name suggests: a puzzling house of brain-twisting decor. Test your alacrity with the puzzles in the puzzle area at the top of the stairs and throughout the shop; both are free to enter. A small entrance fee will get you into the main attraction, the World of Illusion, which contains an "anti-gravity" room, a hologram gallery, and the "Eyelusions" exhibit. Be forewarned: The reality-bending exhibits might leave you reeling with laughter and dizziness. • Smashing place. No need to queue we arrived at 1.30 on a Wednesday during school holidays. We stayed a couple of hours. Kids absolutely loved it. Kids are 11 and 10. Puzzling and interesting illusions (adults enjoyed too). You could buy tickets in advance but we paid on the day. Good price for the amount of fun we had. Top tip ..go round twice as we missed quite a bit on first way around. Warning you exit through shop. The kids loved taking photos of illusions and chatted about the place on way home. It cost £15.00 for a family ticket. No toilet though!
  • Very interesting and thought provoking, the photo opportunities with the "strange rooms", made it so much fun. The puzzles and tricks on the eyes are really good, it is fun, it is quirky, it is worth doing. Its just a bit small, and that's the only reason I've not given it 5 stars
