Derwentwater has lots of options to take great photos, but if you want easy and immediate, you’d struggle to beat it. Plenty of parking, plus you can grab shots of Ashness too.

A breathtaking view and truly a surprise. All along the way you have no idea what you are about to witness. I would definitely park down on the main road around a 30 minute walk from the view point as the route up to the there is also very scenic. Nothing is going to prepare you for the amazing view though.

Lots of memories from childhood the view is spectacular. You can either walk or drive up. We drove due to not being able-bodied enough but I have walked in the past and would prefer it Get out and go 🙂
