    Steep inclines to begin with. Lovely walk through woodland with good views of Bassenthwaite Lake. Great little coffee shop just off car park offering plenty of choice of food, drinks and snacks.

    Accessible parking with wheelchair spaces near the cafe and toilet facilities, clean, vehicle number place recognition which you pay upon leaving. Access to some good walks of varying degrees of difficulty. Some information signs or stands would not go amiss however most people I met here were very friendly and happy to point out the local landscapes.

    A great walk for families. We came here twice on our weeks stay. Nice little cafe by the car park. Always worth a visit. The parking is cheap and easy as you pay when you leave. Takes card payments.
