White Scar Cave
A network of caves White Scar Cave features one of the longest-known cave chambers in Britain. You can even see helictites, cave formations that grow spirally, sideways, and every which way. In addition to touring this fascinating underground world, a cafe and a gift shop are also present. Stop by the visitor’s center to see a large-scale plan of the cave system, historic photographs, and material about nearby places of interest. Pay special attention if you are the last of the day to tour the caves. It is rumored a disembodied, murmuring voice follows the last guide out of the cave. Excellent cave tour. Ladts about 80mins, with lots to see along the way. Hard hats supplied- and definitely needed! There are parts so low you need to be bent double! Made lively and interesting by...

First cave I'd ever been to and I was very impressed! The cave can be tight in places and you have to duck twice for a few paces but I would 100% recommend this. When it opens up to the "battle field" its breath taking! If you like history, exploring, geography or just fancy a day out as you can also walk all around the moors once the tour is over. Our tour guide Alison was lovely and approachable. She definitely made the experience fun! Full of interesting facts and information!

Really interesting experience. Tim was our guide and he has been very polite and friendly. You could see he is passionate about geology and it's not just a job. He had vast knowledge about it. Only downside was we had a group of 18 people and we could hardly hear anything in the back. Anything more than 8 people I believe you wont hear a thing. Cave is not suitable for dogs or people with walking aids.
